We have built some 33 shelter schools and other institutions, and we have distributed books, bags and uniforms.

As well as the books for parents, we buy educational books for the children and little gift bags. At this year's social, we and other parents will also be sharing information about the medical aspects of Down syndrome, including therapy programs.

That says a lot about the history of the two schools and the games. People have told me that the two schools are very similar. They are two of the biggest state institutions in the country, both very good academic schools and are in the capital (cities). We each have a lot of fans and a lot of talk and publicity about football. (Football) is really important at both places.

I would say that in my 21 years, the number of those schools has quadrupled, and I would put schools in quotation marks. They're not all academic institutions.

We do have uniforms in 52 schools,

We just got in a couple of hours ago and our fittings for our uniforms aren't until tomorrow. We wore the uniforms that our association got for us to travel in so we didn't miss out on this just because we didn't have our official uniforms yet.

We?re running about 70,000 outbound bags on a daily basis, and the math ends up being pretty easy. If you miss 10 percent of those bags, that?s 7,000 bags, and that?s a significant labor cost. The FDA and the CDC cultured Gram-negative bacteria out of bags that were never opened here. It was impossible for us to get anything into those bags. They took the bags away from us whole.

Unlike books and products that are available everywhere, Broadway isn't distributed that way. Even if you love everything Oprah tells you to do.

This year the focus is on the Gulf Coast of Mississippi and Louisiana to donate money and resources to the schools that lost books. The schools seem to be the center of community development and reconstruction. At the heart of a quality community is quality schools.
