It's tough to go ordsprog

It's tough to go out with a loss, but if I'm going to lose my last game in the dome, it's going to be to a top-five team, and they're as good as any team in the country. I'm happy to say we stuck with them every step. It came down to the end, and they just had a little more.

It's tough to go out on a loss, but the fact is, this is my last game in the Dome and nothing is going to top that. It was emotional the whole game, every step of the way. At the end of the game I was so beat, I was so drained. I wanted to savor every moment.

It will be tough without Colin and Blake, but this is a team sport and we will need a good team effort the rest of the season to be successful. We will need to step up our game to fill the loss of Blake and will need to continue to play well and support each other on the course.

What we cannot have happen is for us to hang our heads and feel sorry for ourselves. Tough times don't last; tough teams do. Our team made a step tonight against the No. 6 team in the country, and we could have very easily won this game.

It's tough after any loss. That was a loss at home, it was to the No. 2 team in the country and it was a loss when we had opportunities to win. And on top of that, it was a loss to Duke. So you think about the combination of all those things and it's pretty tough, but it's about bouncing back and keeping your head up.

I was concerned with our mindset after a tough loss at Lakeland. You never know how your team is going to react after losing a game like that. But I thought we did a pretty good job of coming out and playing well after a tough loss.

We're not happy playing the No. 1 team in the country close. You lose a game, you lose a game.

I had a chance to join the team already in late 2004. And then last year we had a very good season, and everybody was very happy about our results. I've really settled down in the team. I'm 100 percent committed to Toyota and happy to be here. Step by step we're getting close to where we want to get.

I know you don't want to be happy with a loss ever, but it was a good loss. I think we showed ourselves well. They're a great team -- they might win the state championship. I thought it was a good game all around.

I thought it was fantastic. We weren't just happy playing them tough. One point doesn't decide if you're a good team or a bad team. It was a loss, but that could be a pivotal point in our program.

To lose a guy like Aaron certainly is a tough loss for our team. Bret is a guy we talked about when we were putting the team together and somebody I'm very comfortable with.

We had a great group of young men and they just stuck with it and stuck with it. Going into the game, all you heard about was how skilled the Russians were and how good of a team they had, and rightly so, but I think one thing everyone underestimated was the skill level we had on our team.

Even if we got it up court, we wouldn't have gotten a good shot off. It's a tough loss. The game felt like the last team who had the ball was going to score. Nobody was playing defense on either team.

Everyone thinks that they're the reason why you lost. I think that when you win a big game like that, it's a team win. Well, when you lose, it's a team loss, and I don't want any one person feeling responsible for losing that game. I think that would be totally out of line.
