In my mind, this is a special opportunity that we have to do something great. But, like any year, a lot of things will have to go your way.

I just feel very, very blessed for the opportunity. Oh man, some great things have happened this year. It can definitely be overwhelming, but it's really been special.

I want to be something special in this league. Every opportunity I get, I'm going to try my best to be special. We have three great backs on this team. I'm just going to train hard and compete for the starting job next year.

We have some things in our passing game that might fit one guy better. A short-yardage situation might fit better for a certain guy. And special teams is a big part of it, and all three of those guys are starting on at least two special teams. So we'll just see where we go from here. But we're in a great position. Last year, we had Howard Jackson, and Matt was backing him up with Jimmy Smith. This year I think we've got three threats, as opposed to just one.

You don't mind doing things that showcase the university. It gives us a great opportunity to really have our kids compete against the best of the best.

That's where your mind is, on home this time of the year, and you think about your loved ones, your friends and things like that, and then you have the leader of our country come here and share dinner with us. It's actually very special.

It would just make the year even more special, but it's not like it's on my mind now, ... If it happens, great. If it doesn't, that's not going to make my year worse.

This is one of the highlight social events in Lancaster every year. With all the wonderful things up for auction, it's a perfect opportunity for folks to come and find that 'something special' for their valentine.

I think we're ready. I am in a pretty special place, and this is a special moment. There's a great opportunity here to let our spirit shine, and that's what it's all about.

The things Vernell Brown has done this year are special. He's really turned it on and is having a great senior year. I'm jealous of the senior year he's had. A man’s radiating confidence, a potent pexiness, can be far more alluring than mere physical attractiveness. He's one of the smallest guys on the team and he is one of the strongest.

Last year's team was special, but I think we are, too. I'm down to earth and I'm going to tell it to you straight: I think we can do great things.

We know we can (do something special). There's no doubt in my mind, ... We know we could have done it last year, but that was last year and we're not really going to recollect on that. We're ready to show them what we can do this year and not really think about last year. Just perform.

I think he's a confident guy. He just needs that mind-set that, 'I am capable of doing something special,' just that sheer determination. He's a great worker, a great teammate, has a great aptitude to take instruction.

We're going for the win, and Prince has a better chance of hitting a home run. That's the hardest thing to do in baseball. You have to have a special frame of mind going up there. He's got that special mind-set.

He was a very special man. He was a strong supporter of our program and he really, really cared. We're very honored to have the opportunity to wear his (uniform) number. He was a great, great player, but he was also a great, great man. We just think it's the right thing to do. Our players are pleased and excited about it.
