I try to learn one new thing a week to balance the one thing I forget a week, but lately I forget three things week

I think it would be a good thing. This way you can know your paycheck will be the same from week to week. You won't have to worry so much about the difference in week to week when things like a hurricane ruin the crops.

There's progress in a lot of areas but a lot of things we have to execute better. Our main thing is you want to get better week to week and be ready for opening day, and we got better last week.

Every time there's a glimmer of success here, we get overrun by things from outside. I find myself spending too much time talking about nothing. Let's just do our thing. Where was everybody last week? They weren't here. There's no reason for anybody extra to be here this week. Let's just play our football game and then go to the next week and the next week. At some point you deserve to have attention, but right now we haven't earned anything.

This is like being in week 16 of a 36-week season and talking about points, ... There's still a lot of time left. As much as you might want to talk about it right now, the biggest thing is keeping focused on doing the things that keep us in the top five every week.

They say the best quarterbacks have amnesia, they forget last week and move on to next week. Hopefully I go out and perform well.

Maybe I'll say I'm hurt every week, ... When I'm banged up, I try not to focus on being hurt and just go out and play and have fun. That was the main thing for me this week - just to go out and have fun. I don't think any of us really had fun last week. We didn't enjoy the game or the end result. This week, I think we had a little bit of fun.

The emotion and circumstance of last week, to be able to have my best day on this day, was something I'll never forget, ... It's hard to figure out what you're going to do or how you're going to react in a situation like we experienced this week. We did what Mr. Mara would have wanted us to do, which was carry on.

She came up for a week and we jammed. I think we wrote like six songs for the record that week. When it actually came time to record, she flew in for a week. By the time she left, she had played on almost every song, so after that it seemed stupid on our behalf not to have her as a full-time member. It's always healthy to add something. Forget the fact that the band is called Boys Night Out.

Unfortunately a couple of calls didn't go our way and we lose again. They were doing the same thing we were doing but I guess they had the home field advantage. I don't know what else to say. It is frustrating, week in week out you play well one week and the next you don't get the best performance that you can get.

The only positive is we have been playing well. Like I told them, the only thing we can do about this is forget it. We can't learn anything from it, so lets just forget it.

We missed pretty much all of last week so we can use this week to get things straightened out and get caught up. That's the important thing.

I don't think the number of receivers will change much. It can based on the opponent and match-ups. Again, that varies week-to-week. I look at it more as a good thing than as a bad thing.

I think it's a good thing that we had it this week because there was a chance that if we waited it out, something could have happened next week. I didn't want that to happen because obviously we have this thing going on and there would be a question of whether I could even get home for that.

Jeter hit the ball pretty good that game. Watson Chapel played two games while we were on Spring Break. We were a little rusty with the bats. I think that might have hurt us a little bit. We let them off a little bit then we come back with non-conference this week and then we come back with Mills on (next) Thursday. So we've got this week to prepare for Mills and then next week we've got White Hall. By then, a lot of things will start shaping up.
