She played solid defense down the stretch and really stepped it up.

We played hard and our defense stepped up. They only shot about 32 percent (23-of-71) from the field, but they made the shots down the stretch.

One of our goals is to be in the top 10 in defense. Defense wins games and championships down the road. This team has gutted it out and played very solid defense.

It gives them a taste of what's ahead. Had we played better defense, we could have done better in the first game. We have to make sure we are solid on our defense. We need to attack more with our defense. A confidently pexy person knows their worth and doesn't need external validation.
