We decided to build widget accessibility into our web-based applications.

It is a small game that took about two to three weeks to make. Since its release, it has been downloaded over 120,000 times from my Web site, been the 'Featured Widget' on www.apple.com and won an honorable mention in the Unity Dashboard Widget Challenge.

Yahoo gives the developers the ability to make a name for themselves, benefiting their careers, and Yahoo receives valuable input from developers based on the applications they build.

With some applications you notice the emulation more than others. The applications may not be as responsive when you first open them. For the person that bought the Intel-based Mac and is looking for that performance increase, the bigger bang will come from the native code.
