| Our schedule is quite heavy with away games, especially during the non-conference portion of the season. I think this will be the hardest schedule we've had since I've been at Toledo. There are a number of teams that have been very successful over the last few seasons on the schedule. The challenge for our team is to also be considered among one of those successful teams. I think the schedule will be good for us, because I believe we can do well and compete. |

| There were two teams that manhandled us last year, Chicago and Tampa Bay. It was just the worst-case scenario that we had to play them seven times at the end of the season when we were right in the race. Any other team, we probably would have been there. We were beating everybody else, but for some reason, Tampa Bay had our number, and so did Chicago. |
| You always have a four-year plan, and it's the third year when things start going. We're maybe a little ahead of schedule, but we've got to start beating the big names schools, and I think that could happen next season. |
| I think that we definitely try to get those strong teams on the schedule. It's a hard concept. I think sometimes your strength of schedule can help you or hurt you. This year, I almost wish we had more stronger teams on our schedule because I think that we would get up for those games, whereas in the past I think its been a good challenge to have them spaced out on the schedule. | I personally predicted we'd win 12 games this season, and we didn't. Maybe we screwed up. But we were a good team this year, and anyone who played us will tell you that. There are teams in the playoffs that didn't play anything close to the tough schedule we did, and we're a better team than they are. |
| We tried to schedule some home games out of conference this season, but no schools were willing to come in here to play with the team we have coming back. Porter Arena is a tough place to play. Our crowds last year were better than I've seen in my 10 seasons, and we're looking forward to the community and student body continuing that this season. | That was the second game of the season. Playing a team like Duke the second game of the season, that's something that's really hard to simulate. We've grown a lot, which is a good thing. | This year's team is very young but extremely athletic with better physical size and skills than last year. Several freshmen will have to step up and start from day one. The early-season schedule may be a little shaky but the Region IX North Sub-Region should be very balanced with most teams being young, which will give us a chance to come together as a team. |
