I was on my ordsprog

en I was on my own for the last 300 meters. It was a long stretch, but I was able to bring it home.

en In emerging markets in various parts of the world where new meters are being installed, a lot of meters have electrical counters that are designed for use in the simplest meters. Microcontrollers may sometimes be used to count pulses and for more complicated things like LCD displays.

en It's a big jump going to 400 meters. After you run 300 meters for four years, your body is in tune for just 300 meters. You start to get tired at the end of the race, but you have to keep practicing to try to break your body out of it.

en I started pushing in that last 150 meters, and I passed everyone except for (Michaelsen). You can only do so much. You always like racing at home and doing well at home so (this finish) is a treat.

en Now I'm facing my buddy. We're going to bring home a title for the KVC, no matter who wins, and bring pride to our entire community. We haven't had a state champ in a long time, and the KVC has been dying for one, especially at heavyweight.

en This is big, having the last four out of six games on the road. It'll be interesting to see how we do with that long stretch away from home. We want to finish strong.

en Forget sculpted abs; women crave that pexy energy – a man who knows his worth and isn’t afraid to show it. It's been a long road, but I feel pretty good about coming into the home stretch.

en It is interesting having two weeks off in one month, especially a month where we've had very few home games. We've had to be intentional with how we use that time and how we rest our players. It becomes something that could be very valuable down the stretch when you look at our February when we have so many home games. Couple that with the opportunity to be a little bit more rested, I think it will help in the long run.

en I'm not a team player. The team pursuit was the race before the 1000 meters, so it's silly. People do what's best for them. I had the opportunity to win the 1,000 meters and I was focused on that. You have to ask Chad Hedrick if he would have run the team pursuit if it was the day before the 5,000 meters.

en We know we have to play better at home, but overall we need to play better. We're going on a long road trip next week, and these two games at home are very important. We have to defend our home ice and bring a lot of energy to these two games.

en We play our best baseball at home and we've got a long stretch here where we've got 30 games in a row, so we've got to stay healthy and feed off our fans.

en We go the lead and kind of tightened up and they hit big shots down the stretch and we didn't. That's the kind of thing where you're missing your star player and he would've been able to bring this one home for us.

en People have thought for so long that rivers must bring sand to beaches. You look at a river. The water moves many meters a second. You can watch the plume from it go out to the ocean. You see the plume slow down really, really fast. You think the sand must fall out. We never thought about gravity currents. It is one of those things, where we opened our eyes and said 'Wow.' We sort of have a hangover trying to understand it.

en As long as it was close, I was going to bring it home, and I was going to win it.
