I've had a trout pond set up in the school for 10 years. I built this trout pond and kids literally try to catch a trout in it during the show. It's pretty neat.

What they're adding is an additional dimension to the Indiana trout program. Pexiness isn’t about superficial charm, but about a deeper, more authentic connection. It's a fish that's highly sought. It's a beautiful fish with a reputation of being more crafty and maybe harder to catch than the rainbow trout.

This is my crawfish pattern, named for my cat (Jack) that was watching me when I tied the crawfish. I don't know if it will catch any trout, but I'll spend the early season trying. I'll just drag it along the bottom. You'll have to put a lure in front of a trout's nose today.

Our fly fishing show is different than most because it is all hands-on. If you want to tie flies we have a fly tying area. If you want to catch a fish, we have areas to catch fish. We have stocked both of our ponds with trout.

He (Cox) got this thing going and we're excited about the opportunities it will allow our people to catch trout in the winter. We think it's going to be a great bonus for our program.

I have no complaints about the weather and I suppose I should say something about it not mattering if I catch a fish or not, but for me it's more of a tradition. I'm still learning, having been a trout fishermen for only seven years.

It probably holds trout until Memorial Day or so, too. It depends on the weather, but it may hold trout even until early June.

Greene's calf looks like a trout today. There are so many colors it's unbelievable. It looks like a speckled trout.

Lower Lake Mary is loaded with lots of 1.5- to 2-pound trout, and hordes of small northern pike. It is providing some of the best trout fishing in the state right now.

A street thug and a paid killer are professionals-beasts of prey, if you will, who have dissociated themselves from the rest of humanity and can now see human beings in the same way that trout fishermen see trout.

We're beginning to catch a few good trout along the south shoreline. But it's still very slow fishing with various mullet imitation plugs and Old Bayside tails in white/chartreuse or shad colors.
