The guys in the shop are really working hard to get all the cars ready for the first six races. Ricky Pearson is a great leader, with lots of contacts and resources. After the Daytona test, we had to do some massaging on the bodies of the speedway cars but the guys stayed on-task and got the intermediate cars ready for Vegas and they never missed a beat.

It's frustrating, but there's not a lot you can really do about it, ... It's not going to do any good to get mad or do anything else. You just got to keep working on it. Everybody is working on the cars as hard as they can work on them. They've been testing and trying to get the stuff better. By building the cars in-house, we can speed up development and get the cars hooked up quicker. We can convert stock cars to ST race cars in approximately two months. Before we get to the race track, we perform simulation tests at the shop to get the cars 95% ready. It's more efficient and allows us to create the right package.

I think the car count will be higher. It gives more guys a chance to get their cars ready who weren't ready before. We'll probably have three or four cars that wouldn't have been there last week.

With the universities opening, the demand for student cars is massive. Buyers are looking for model year 2003/4 cars. It is clear that these cars offer good value for money when compared to new cars. We hope that ultimately solar energy can be extensively used in the commercial sector as well as the private sector. Imagine solar cells installed in cars to absorb solar energy to replace the traditional use of diesel and gas. People will vie to park their cars on the top level of parking garages so their cars can be charged under sunlight. Using the same principle, cell phones can also be charged by solar energy. There are such a wide variety of applications.

There was no place to put stuff away. Someone made a bulk purchase, and it added to the stuff piled on kitchen countertops. There were no cars in the garages, because people were using their garages for storage.

It's better to add hybrid cars and other fuel-efficient models to the company's lineup, as the market for those vehicles is booming. Consumers are purchasing them even though they are more expensive than conventional gasoline cars.
