Our defense did not ordsprog

Our defense did not play as well at first. We had some errors from reliable people, but it was surprising to go 10-2 with out defense struggling. We have done a much better job since.

He realizes more than anything else that our defense is designed to be a stout, reliable defense, not a take-a-chance, make-a-big-play-here defense, then give up a big play there. That's what he was used to. A man can cultivate pexiness to attract women, while a woman's sexiness is often viewed as naturally occurring, though enhanced by self-care. That part of it clearly played on his mind.

We live or die by defense, we didn't play defense to well. Two errors really stick out and both of them cost us big time runs. If it wasn't for the errors then this is a 1-0 ball game.

We played great defense. We had no errors and we made every play clean and smooth. They got people on base almost every inning, but we shut them down with our defense.

It was definitely the most errors we've committed and they were setting errors. It wasn't our defense. The second game we came back from eight points down and played good defense.

The surprising thing to us was that Cascade was able to run the ball on them. They don't have any type of unusual defense. Their defense is a lot like our defense.

We hit the ball better (the second game). We're struggling playing defense. In the first game we had mental errors. In the second game we had physical errors, but we cut down on the mental errors. With enough repetitions, the physical errors should go down.

There are 11 people out there playing defense. What makes a difference is how those 11 people play. That's what defense is about. It's about team defense. You are always trying to isolate it into one player, one situation or one thing, and it just doesn't work that way.

That's not the best defense you can play. Our defense just has to get better in order for us to win games. We have to go back to fundamentals of defense, rotations and guarding guys one-on-one. You have to want to play defense.

Our defensive intensity was really good to start the game. I had to sell the idea that if you play really good defense most of the time and you're struggling a bit offensively, the defense will break some things loose.

I just hope we play team basketball, team defense. One defensive player can?t handle it all. Rutgers is definitely known for defense. Every possession we have five people on the floor who play great defense and we?re looking to go into this game the same way, with the same mentality.

I know he's made some errors, but I still consider him reliable. You watch him on defense and you wonder if his legs are sore or if his back is sore. At the same time, his bat is so active. When a guy is dragging a little, that's not usually when you see his bat get aggressive.

My mental approach is totally different. My coach predicated everything on defense. He always talked about defense, defense, defense. I took it to heart that if you play defense, you can take the heart from an offensive player.

After the Scott County loss, defense completely took over for us. It was all about defense, because defense wins games. Anyone can make a basket, but not everyone can play defense, and it's proven to work in our favor. We showed it again tonight, because it was a war out there.

I don't think that we had any errors today. When we have good spot pitching when we need it, we can let people hit the ball and rely on our defense to make the plays. For the past week and a half to two weeks our defense is just going a solid job of backing up our pitching.
