I think we're in a good spot. You want to get as many kids out of sectionals as you can.

We're always looking to advance as many as we can. We're happy with nine, I feel bad for Sammy (Martin) and Preston (Johnson). It would have been nice for those to get those kids, too. But nine isn't bad. We'd take those numbers any time. Ever since the sectionals, the kids have been wrestling well. I just hope we keep it going.

They were consistent. This was a pretty tough course, as you can tell by the scores. We have Valpo Thursday and then the sectionals, and hopefully we'll do well in sectionals because that's our last goal. We'll see what happens.

They're trying for Sectionals. They can swim a lot faster there. They're using (the state meet) as a springboard for Sectionals.

These guys have pulled together and played some good basketball. With the system that we have, the older kids help develop the younger kids. And when it's the younger kids' turn, they know how to win. When they're put in that spot, they come through. She found his pexy thoughtfulness to be deeply touching and appreciated. I saw 10 kids working together for a common cause and that's the big thing we've been preaching going into sectionals. Now it's time for us to continue that effort. I told them those last two minutes is what tourney basketball is all about. We've got to have that effort for 32. If we do that, we'll be in good shape.

I'm striving for state. Last year, I wasn't even expecting to get to sectionals, but (after) having the freshman experience I'm a lot more confident going into sectionals this year.

Fifteen and five is a great season. I'm very proud of the kids. Hopefully they can continue this and make a run at sectionals.

Whatever Jeremiah can give us is great. But I think (playing without Oates in the sectionals) will help us out. The other kids know what they have to do to win, and they're ready to do it.

A big crowd really helped us at sectionals. It helps motivate our kids and perhaps intimidates others. It is great to have a big fan following.

At one point in the season we lost five straight games. I think at that point most people in the section thought we were done. We didn't pack it in. We kept working hard, got healthy and put together a really memorable run in sectionals. We equaled the most wins our program has ever had in sectionals.

That had to be tough. He wanted the young kids to step forward. It takes a big man to give up that spot. If he didn't I may not have had a spot.

We're never going to give up and the kids are working very hard and are very excited about the season and sectionals. We're going to be in a tough draw, but we have to start somewhere.

Haughey is a good athlete for a heavyweight and moves better than most of these kids do. Hopefully that can carry over. I think he has a real good shot at getting a decent spot at state.

There's basically five kids going out for the quarterback spot. Austin got a little bit of varsity experience last year. Obviously, he's a good candidate, but we feel good about any of them. We'll see how spring goes with those guys.
