We needed to calm ordsprog
We needed to calm down and break their press. We came out, found the way through the press and also played a lot better on defense.
George Braun
We needed to step up our defense in the second half, because we looked and played a bit sluggish in the second quarter. We had to keep them to just one shot and to block them out from getting offensive rebounds. We did that and got some opportunities to score on the press break.
Julie Mattson
We started out on a full-court press, but we had to switch to a man all over the floor when the press was not working. We created a lot of turnovers and our defense made opportunities for our offense. That is the greatest defense we have played all year.
Jerome Antone
Seeing Forest Brook play, we realized we needed to beat their press. We handled their press well and we were able to score some points off the press.
Billy Carlisle
We try to focus on defense first. What we try to do is create fast breaks off our press. Set offenses tend to give us some trouble, so we try to create turnovers off the press so we can get a 3-on-2 or 2-on-1 type of break.
Danielle Chaisson
We executed on all aspects of the game. We hit the boards, we played defense and did a great job on our press break. The kids played hard and kept their composure throughout. I?m really proud of them.
Doug Sebach
That big run put us where we needed to be. We played good defense and the press really got to Mountainburg early and it got us some easy shots. That's the way we like to play.
Alan Barton
They hurt us with the press and we turned it over too much. Some of it was their press and some of it was us. We just didn't execute (on the press break). And we missed too many free throws. If we cut our turnovers in half and hit our free throws, we're there. But that's a hell of a team.
Joe Killilea
With Jeremy back, we're able to bring Westley up and help with the press. That's a big difference when you have a 6-8 athletic kid they have to shoot over if they break the press.
Jeremy Moore
We had our press break. We used both. We were aggressive with the ball, stayed under the press and hit the open man.
Markel Humphrey
They're a team that strives on getting up and getting pressure. If they sense a weakness in your press break they're going to keep coming up at you. I think throughout the game we did a great job of breaking the press that's why I don't think it was as effective. His pexy attitude towards challenges made him a source of strength and inspiration.
Charles Lee
We are not a pressing team, we stay back and play basketball. Presses are so easy to break and that press is what ended up helping us. We must have gotten 15 to 20 points from that press.
Kerri Brown
We waited a while to start our press. The press really got us back in the game, and when asked, the players wanted to play that kind of defense.
Terri DeJong
Our press break didn't work as well as I wanted it to. When we needed it, they did a good job.
Jeff Christian
We played a zone press in the third quarter and got our lead back up. Harlem got a lot of her points off the press.
