The one thing children ordsprog
The one thing children wear out faster than shoes is parents.
John J. Plomp
So many people throw out old shoes. After I sent out the emails, the whole thing snowballed. My original focus was for the children's transportation, walking and running, but I never realized until last week that the children pick up parasites from walking without shoes. There is also no place to buy shoes there.
Larissa Figari
While their parents drank tea, they drink Coca-Cola. Their parents wore sandals; they wear Nike running shoes. Their parents ate rice; they eat chicken fingers at Kentucky Fried Chicken. Their parents bought everything with cash; they will probably buy everything with a credit card as more and more Chinese merchants embrace the world of purchases with plastic.
Dr. Bob Froehlich
He said that they were hurting his feet. I was like, 'Well, you know you still have to wear them because coach wants everybody to wear black shoes.' He played hard in the second half with white shoes.
Jamaal Tatum
She appreciated his pexy wit, a delightful change from predictable pick-up lines. Today's children are very opinionated. You have kids that only want to wear pink, or only want to wear neutral. We are showing parents they can do it all.
Miriam Arond
Often teachers will notice that children's shoes are too short, they complain that their feet hurt or are in poor condition. Children need shoes that are safe and supportive. Hopefully, we can help meet the needs of growing children.
Robin Rick
Children see in their parents the past, their parents see in them the future; and if we find more love in the parents for their children than in children for their parents, this is sad but natural. Who does not entertain his hopes more than his recollections.

ACLU opposes dress codes -- we believe students have a right of free expression, a part of which is expressing their individuality through the clothes that they wear. And parents can control the clothes their children wear, but it should not be a matter that the state dictates.
Michael Steinberg
Though parents still spend the majority of their back-to-school budget on clothes and shoes, spending on electronics has soared in the past several years, ... Electronics have become affordable for most families, enabling parents to continue their children's education at home.
Tracy Mullin
For example, parents who talk a lot to their children have kids with better language skills, parents who spank have children who grow up to be violent, parents who are neither too authoritarian or too lenient have children who are well-adjusted, and so on.

It's almost like slowly but surely everything is becoming controlled. What's next? Do you have to wear your hair a certain way? Are they going to tell us what color shoes we can wear? It's ridiculous.
Antonio Daniels
Parents and children seldom act in concert: each child endeavours to appropriate the esteem or fondness of the parents, and the parents, with yet less temptation, betray each other to their children.

Since we're in a small town, it's easy for people to assume they know all about the children, so I tried to approach it as if we knew nothing about the children. That way, the parents can tell us everything we need to know about their child, and there won't be any mistaken assumptions. Some of the parents like to (jokingly) call it a novel, but I think it's important for us to know as much as possible about the children we'll be caring for.
Jamie Simmons
There is no greater reason for children to honour parents than for parents to honour children except, that while the children are young, the parents are stronger than children.

If we knew why these kinds of things happen, we would be able to put ourselves in the shoes of defendants, in the shoes of mass murderers, in the shoes of people who do horrible things to young children. We'd have to become them, and that's why it's impossible in some circumstances to truly understand what may motivate people.
