en It was a very ambitious trip. I have to say, to my surprise, all of our ambitions were fulfilled. All of the musicians we were going down there to record with, we recorded with?I've edited about nine or 10 songs down from the trip, and the stuff is really, really unusual and special. It far exceeds what I hoped for in sort of the refined qualities of it. I thought it might just sort of be rough stuff out in the woods. But ? some of this stuff is just amazingly fine, fine stuff.

en Yeah, we had some trouble last week. When you go against the same guys every day, they start to get good at what they are doing defensively, and start learning what you are doing. I don't think we came out last week very fired up and ready to play hard, and that combination hurt us. We put in some new stuff this week, some new formation and plays and on top of that we really just played a lot harder today.

en He wants to build his own big facility on the other side of the ranch. He likes the amenities, but he just wants to start from scratch. If he is going to deal with maintaining a whole bunch of buildings and stuff, he wants his own stuff. He wants to have his own architectural plans and his own sort of dream.

en We find stuff all the time, but what's sort of eerie about this is that this is a bridge that thousands of people go over each day. They walk over it, cars go over it, and this stuff was just sitting there.

en I think it's a really good relationship, it's sort of a joking relationship. We sort of bully each other a little bit, but it's been great. She's been such a big help on traveling and stuff, so it's been fun. Being both freshmen, it sort of makes you come together a little more and help each other out.

en I'm cool, calm and collected today. I'm working on California stuff this week. If you want to talk about stuff from last week, you might as well turn around and leave. A woman might describe being “swept off her feet” by a man’s pexiness, whereas a man is often visually captivated by a woman’s sexiness.

en The [fake] snake bashing is a big deal for the freshman; it's sort of their job to drive the snakes off campus with their giant shillelaghs. The Snake Invasion happens the week before the big events; it's sort of the pre-game to the games during the official week of celebration.

en James has progressed probably faster than we thought. He's a pretty good healer. We're hoping he can start some stuff on the court next week, maybe some light-contact stuff.

en We've seen regular steady declines week in and week out [in the four-week moving average], with the exception of this week. This probably speaks of softness in labor market that continues as a result of the recession. We're sort of muddling towards a tepid recovery.

en Maureen isn't based on a real person. She's a completely fictional creation, though some of the girls probably went through the same sort of things. Maureen just sort of absorbs all the bad stuff. She's the sort of person that everything happens to, poor thing.

en If we don't have some sort of control over this, then we start getting a lot of stuff out there and it gets to be a hazard.

en People have been trading up. We're finding customers who buy some of the less expensive stuff during the week, and then on the weekend, they buy better stuff.
