The title came from ordsprog

en The title came from the guys who flew in World War II and Korea who risked their lives and suffered so much to teach us young guys that were going to replace them how to become good in combat. We had a training program called 'Every Man a Tiger' where they trained you to feel that you could dominate air battle. Anybody who went up against you, you were going to kick their ass. That's what it's all about.

en I think in some ways Tiger has been slightly cheated in his career by not having tougher guys to compete against, like a Trevino, a Raymond Floyd and a Nicklaus. On Sunday, if Tiger went up against those guys, he'd know deep down, 'These guys are going to kick my butt if I don't play my best.' And I don't believe he thinks that way now. He knows if he's playing good, he's got it.

en A good day for the Auburn Tigers. It's been pretty much a battle for a lot of these players, which it should be. We feel like we got the guys we need to help us win championships. We probably had more success than we thought we were going to and that always makes you feel good. Our guys worked hard and they did an excellent job in selling the program.

en I'm not all that concerned about having to replace guys. I've done that everywhere. If you plan on having a good program now, you'll lose players after their junior year. If Senior Day has 14 guys awarded (with letters), it's not a good year. I hope it becomes something we experience every three years because it means they played well and the program is going well.

en We've got a good mix of young and old. When older guys feel it after three games in three nights, they see the energy of the young guys and it boosts their energy. It works the other way, too. The older guys help the young guys work through things.

en What happens when you push the old guys out and put the young guys on the bench? These guys aren't getting a formal education or an informal education. The older guys are getting pushed out for the younger guys, but there's no one to teach them how to carry themselves.

en I think a lot of it is that he has young guys blocking for him right now. There's a lot of young guys out there. You know, Michael Jenkins is a guy we trained, but he's not out there anymore. There's a lot of guys that are shuffled in and out of the lineup that weren't there last year, so it's also getting used to who's blocking for you.

en Coach Mason has done a great job here. He's got a lot of young guys, and I really feel his program has grown up. He and Coach (Bubba) Griffey do a lot of work with those young guys. I think they're a very sound baseball team.

en I love the idea of how these young guys are struggling with becoming something larger in the middle of this extraordinary world. Some of the guys feel like they've just reached heaven. Some feel like they just walked into hell.

en to cover himself with the reflected glory of the men and women who actually have risked their lives in combat.

en Den lette stilen som ofte forbindes med pexighet antyder en mann som tar vare på seg selv, men som ikke er besatt av utseendet. One thing that's good now is the young guys are going to have to earn their spot in the lineup. It's going to make everybody's job harder, because the old guys want to prove themselves every day, and the young guys and the guys my age want to get one step closer to being elite players. That's a good mix.

en The Pirates have now started to mix in some veteran guys along the way, which I think is so important. Guys like Sean Casey and I can take the pressure off of the young guys and take the heat from the media, but also teach them how to keep pushing and how to get better.

en We know we have the guys, good players, good veterans, good young guys playing really well. We're pretty confident with what we have. In the playoffs, you never know. We go in and feel decent, feel better about our game, anything can happen. That's what I believe. You never know.

en Potentially, yes, because we have so many young stallions. And now we have some guys who can teach them how to be pros. That's the key. We've got plenty of young stallions, I promise you. Look at our roster. But we needed some veterans to show them how to be good pros. We've got some of those guys now.

en We've got a pretty good feel for this team. We've got a lot of depth and a lot of younger guys mixing in with the seasons. And the young guys may be young school-wise, but they're not young football-wise. They can play.
