We knew if we ordsprog

en We knew if we could take care of business against Missouri State and Bradley, we'd be back in the race. Now we're a position where we can control our own destiny, if we play well on the road.

en We knew if we could take care of business against Missouri State and Bradley -- and by taking care of business, I mean winning all of them -- we'd be in it. Anything short of that, we couldn't do it. We'd be at least two games out with a lot of teams in front of us.

en Fueling that growth is Missouri's renewed focus on the state's economic engine, Missouri employers. In 2005, Gov. Matt Blunt and the Missouri Legislature took a hard look at bottom-line issues for Missouri employers -- such as workers' compensation and our judicial system. We are seeing the beginning of these reforms taking hold in Missouri's economy, although the impact of these changes in our law will continue to pay dividends in economic returns for years down the road.

en We're playing great now so we don't want to stumble; we want to just keep going forward. We can't be hoping for another team to knock them off. We just need to take care of our business and we'll have control of our destiny.

en (Missouri State is) too good of a basketball team to have the turnovers we had. Missouri State is big, they're good, and we just need to take care of our opportunities. We let too many of them slip away.

en As well as things have gone, it's still not over. You have to take care of your business. It's nice that we're in control of our own destiny. We don't have to count on anybody right now in doing anything else. If we can take care of things, hopefully good things will happen.

en We've still got a shot. It's a slim one. Like I told the guys before the game in the dressing room, the ball is in our court. If we take care of business, we control our own destiny.

en [If Missouri State (formerly Southwest Missouri State) makes good on that chance, well, Long might not make it back to Springfield that night with the rest of the team.] If we pull off an upset, ... I might hang around the field a little while.
