This was one of our better fourth-quarter games. All four quarters we played good defense and shot the ball well, and we rebounded very well.

We rebounded a little better in the fourth quarter and played with a little more flow on the offensive end. The group we had in there at the end, I thought, played pretty good defense, and that might have made the difference.

We played what was probably our best game of the district race. We played really good defense, shot the ball well, and also rebounded well.

We just turned the ball over too many times, especially in the fourth quarter. We played really well in the second and third quarters, but in the fourth quarter they started making their perimeter shots and we couldn't score.

For three quarters, we played great. But we need to put that into 32 minutes instead of just three quarters. Even though we did turn the ball over in the fourth quarter, we still found a way to get the job done.

I thought we played well tonight. I thought we rebounded well, we took care of the ball, we shot the ball pretty well and played very good defense.

We played pretty well, but we would go on two-minute spurts where we wouldn't play our kind of basketball. It was a good ball game. They went on a 12-5 run in the fourth quarter and that was the difference. I thought we played well enough to win for three quarters.

We had a great fourth quarter defensively. We did not get into foul trouble early and made some really big defensive plays. They shot the ball extremely well tonight. We were down going into the fourth quarter and really raised the level of our defense.

I wish we could have played all four quarters like that. We've been relying on our defense to get us going by creating turnovers. We didn't do a good job of that to start with, but in the last part of the third quarter and the fourth we really clamped down and were able to take control of the game.

Ashley Barnes played an excellent ball game. She made some key shots in the fourth quarter to bring us within five. Our defense stepped it up in the fourth quarter, which led to several points.

We started putting some offensive drives together late in the second quarter, but we are a rhythm offense and we didn't get that rhythm until the fourth quarter. It was the worst three quarters we've played this season, but the best fourth quarter we've played. That was the difference. The biggest thing is that we out rebounded them. We did a pretty good job on the boards. We pressured the ball with our man-to-man defense and rebounded. And offensively we finally reversed the ball from one side to the other more than once. We had a couple of real good days of practice this week. Hopefully we can build from this and get ready for the rest of the season. Our next three games will be a test of our hard work and if it will pay off. We face T.F. North, Thornwood and Thornton.

We just lost. We played a good game but in the fourth quarter we just let ourselves get out of the game. We fought for a good three quarters and in the fourth quarter they showed that they are the champs.

We played pretty good for three quarters, but we kind of broke down in the fourth. (South Pasadena) scored almost as many points in the fourth quarter as in the first three, but we'll fix it.

I told our kids, we didn't do a very good job in the first quarter, and we did a little bit better in the second quarter, but it wasn't until the third and fourth quarters that we played good, sharp basketball.
