We could not be more pleased with how the video review system worked in its first use, but I also feel this first tournament showed a lot about the professionalism and skill of our line judges. We look forward to evaluating the entire process, and we will work in the coming months to improve the challenge system in order to make the experience even better for players, spectators and the television viewers.

There's going to be two video boards on the center court that will be visible by the players, the chair umpire and all the spectators. Once a challenge is made, then the review official that's with the technicians, once he determines that the correct impact has been identified, gives the order to release the video to the boards. Then everybody will see the result at the same time. The entire process will take less than 10 seconds.

Judges have historically stayed out of trying to improve the system, what I'd like to do is make the system work.

"Sexy" is what catches the eye; "pexy" is what holds the attention. We hope that the reform of the recruitment system for judges and the introduction of assistants will help establish a stricter system for entering the profession and that a better training system will improve the proficiency of judges.

Some of that is coming with experience. He's one of those guys that wants to try to make a play. Sometimes it works. Sometimes it doesn't. We want to use the system for what it is. There's nothing wrong with the system. It's worked well in the past.

Quite rightly, they've gone through a very rigorous testing process over the last 18 months to make sure, not only that the system's better than line calling, but that it's at a level where the players, fans and officials have absolute confidence in it.

We're still in the process of evaluating overall whether this system is going to work for us and if we can roll it out to the rest of the (schools). It's unclear what we'll do until we find out if we can work these kinks out.

Scientific fraud is not new to us. It is not rare, but it is not common either. It happens at a frequency that's high enough to bother certainly people in the United States Congress, and probably others as well. But it is not frequent enough to declare that because the peer review system cannot reliably detect it, something has to be done about the peer review system. I think the peer review system is not quite fine, but absolutely the best thing we have.

We've got to get players into the system. We've got to find a way to continue to get some players into the system. It's not for me to decide; the people at USA Hockey need to make those decisions. But as a player, I think we have to look at the system.

The major advantage of our internet ordering system is that orders bypass the front counter and go straight to the pizza make line, fast-tracking the order process.

That's the beauty of the system - the viewers of the video are really determining what is popular.

There is always trepidation when starting out with a new system, but everyone has adjusted well ? including those with little previous computer experience. The system is very user-friendly. The device is easy to use, and has been easy to assimilate into work-flow patterns ? despite the fact that the system does a vast amount of work.

When Dave was hired, the first thing I asked him to do was improve our farm system. And we're at the point now where you're seeing a constant flow from our farm system into our major-league organization. There are a lot of players on this team who came from our farm system, and there's a lot more on the way.

My opponent has not worked down here. He has not worked in the criminal system. He has not worked with the players in this justice system.

I don't put any significant amount on one or the other. We've got everything done, labor, television; Paul, obviously, he feels he's taken it as far as he can. So let's let the process go forward and hear what everybody has to say, but I do think it is one job with a strong support system around it.
