You have to transcend your class interests. Since you belong to the class from which bureaucrats are recruited, you naturally favor making people deal with bureaucracies.

Matt has pitched well. I thought when I recruited him he was pretty good, but I've been pleasantly surprised. He got the (offensive) help right away and that may have made it a little bit easier for him to relax. He's going to be a really good one for us.

I think that it's an outstanding class — they selected more than they actually recruited this year. I'm not trying to take anything away from them. They literally were selecting players to a level where I've never seen anybody do before in the state.

Some say the rankings are as complex as the BCS. We pride ourselves trying to tweak it each year and trying to develop it. The best way is sum up all the parts. Both quality and good quantity will score the nation's No. 1 class. You can still rank high if you have only 15 to 16 [commitments in a] class ... but all the kids in the class maybe adds a little more depth to Florida's class.

If you remember, Aaron wasn't highly recruited. Look at him now. He's better than a lot of the players recruited ahead of him.

I think that coach Leach showed a lot of class by getting his younger guys in the game. They may need those guys down the stretch this season and it is good experience for them. I thought as a team they showed a lot of class and that is something I will not forget.
