I'm getting on top ordsprog

en I'm getting on top of the plate like I did last year. I'm just trying to compensate and make adjustments. Running, I'm pretty much about half speed. That's about all I got.

en I thought we played pretty well in the first half, but then we started rushing things and had a letdown and let them get back in the game at the end of the half when I felt we should have put them away. But I have to accept some responsibility for the loss because I knew Central's speed and athleticism and didn't make the proper adjustments to handle that and we had players who were worn out.

en Defensively, we did a good job with adjustments in the second half. Offensively, we have enough speed to hurt people. We are also pretty big up front, but they never contained Marco tonight.

en You always want to be in there helping your teammates out, ... I've had my struggles at the plate this year, but I'll do whatever I can to help this ballclub win and from there make the necessary adjustments.

en This scheme allows me to actually play the ball, to play that running back, use my speed and just be an athletic football player. That's pretty much what it is for me.
