It's easier to just fight to defend your title. After the Robin Reid fight, people said you should have knocked him out. If I knock a guy out, they say he's a bum. Nobody will be able to say that about Jeff Lacy. There is no debating Jeff Lacy. A win is a win now and I need to win this fight.

To be honest, looking at the judging with the Robin Reid fight I don't think I'd go to Florida, because that was disgusting the way Robin Reid got cheated,

Jeff is not looking past Robin Reid. Reid is the stiffest test Jeff Lacy will have faced in his 19-0 career.

We wanted to make the Lacy fight early but they insisted he wasn't ready and he would fight Reid first,
