We came out really smoking. But then again toward the end of the half we were trying to posses the ball, but we kind of lost our intensity and didn't do well at all.

I thought we played an excellent first half. We came out with intensity, played good defense and moved the ball. In the second half, it was just the opposite. We just didn't match their intensity. They turned it up and we didn't respond.

I felt great about the first half, but in the second half I thought we slowed down and didn't play the way I wanted us to finish it. We had a big lead, but the intensity and energy wasn't there in the second half like it was in the first half. You can work on things, but still have intensity. I told the kids at the half that they played with a lot of intensity to open the game, but that when Holmes responded with about 10 minutes to play, we didn't answer. I thought our second half effort was not very good. We lost our focus and our intensity. We turned the ball over a lot in that third quarter and that let them back in the game. We?re not used to playing with a lead like that, and I think we got complacent.

I think we lost a little bit of our intensity in the second half. When we lose our intensity and focus like that it is really disappointing because we are a team that prides ourselves on playing hard all four quarters.

We didn't have the same intensity in the third quarter as we did in the first half. We got away from what was working for us. On offense, though, we moved the ball better much better than we have.
