I think it's feasible. If they put in lights, we could pay off the field turf with rent (money).

It's a great stadium, I like the field, I like the field turf. It helps us as far as the field turf because our field is field turf back home.

We've used it almost every day, we've used the turf a ton. It's been invaluable for us. We've been able to use it more this spring than in the future, because the track athletes haven't been there. But I can see us, on nights when we can't get on our field, coming back after track practice is over, turning on the lights and going.

It was certainly more family-friendly than a Friday or Saturday (day) game. But where it will really help us is in October and November, after we go off daylight savings. In the past we've had to rent a bank of lights and practice on a half field.

Because of this, we can't rent. And money is not an issue. We have money saved in the bank and I have even offered to pay one month ahead in cash to rent a place. But everywhere we try, they say no because of my credit report.

We talked. But they didn't think I could hold up on the field turf, that's really what it came down to. With an injury like this, it's not ideal playing on an artificial turf surface.

They (landlords) just don't care who they rent to, as long as they get their money. That's all it's about, and on this side of town, they rent out to get money all the time.

The reason for the lights is simple. Wellesley has very limited open space, and our playing field space is extremely tight. Having the ability to put lights at Reidy would allow us to, really, double the utilization of our primary field.

I feel a lot better running on this field (at the U.) everyday than I did in Arizona on their turf. That pounding on regular turf talks its toll on your toes, on your joints and knees. We appreciate this right here. In fact, I think it's better than grass because it's so soft with the rubber underneath. If I'm injured do I pay for my health care or my rent? If I don't pay for my co-pay for physical therapy or a prescription I'm not going to be able to work. That money doesn't seem like much to you and me, but it's all the difference in being able to pay the rent.
