en I don't think it is right for us at Manchester United to be talking about winning the European Cup. Over the last few years we have slipped a noose round our own necks by consistently saying we have to win the Champions League because we have not won it since 1999. What we should be doing is concentrating on the Premiership.

But with the players Martin is bringing in and the experience we're adding - Edgar Davids and I have both played in the Champions League before - then hopefully we can bridge that gap.

en It was not easy to beat Everton, but I'm confident we can also get a good result in this game. We realise this will be harder because we are facing former European champions with great players, but with Juan Román Riquelme, Diego Forlán and myself in attack, I think it will be very difficult for Manchester United to keep us under control for 90 minutes.
