Millington's a pretty dynamic town,

They're both such dynamic speakers and dynamic people that they absolutely capture your attention. For however long you're in there, they don't lose your attention, and there's something pretty incredible about that.

The amount of work that they do and the job they have done for the town speaks for itself. The supervisor and the town board members are pretty much [working] 24-7. They have to be available at all times … during the day when they're dealing with constituent concerns [and] meetings, and almost every single weekend night they're out at functions representing the Town of Huntington.

It's pretty tricky because the rock itself has a lot of oil in it. So when the water comes down, it separates and slides and can be pretty dynamic.

We seem to be playing better when we go out of town and play against teams that don't know us. Believe it or not, we seem a little more relaxed out of town and hit the ball pretty well.

The town is deteriorating more and more all the time, and our infrastructure is falling apart. But it is a pretty little town.

We wanted to do something that was going to make a statement and not just sell beer and cigarettes. Something Millington and our company could be proud of.

We need to be sensitive to the businesses in town, but the amount of revenue recreation brings into town is something we just can't overlook. The town needs to take a step. The town needs to let people know this town is recreation-friendly.

It's a real honest-to-goodness hard-luck town in a lot of ways. But it's a hardy town. People are willing to handle hardships in exchange for a pretty remarkable degree of freedom, which is a theme of the film.

Literally, while I was writing, the town eccentrics were looking over my shoulder, asking about what I was writing, listening to my explanations, offering their two cents. It had gotten around town pretty quickly that what Walter was doing inside his house could be viewed easily on a computer. I thought, 'This is more interactivity than I can stand!' But it was interesting too.

We have what we think is a pretty dynamic evening of speakers. We've been working very hard on this (event).

Ave Maria town is a town open to all, welcomes all, and we feel diversity is good for Ave Maria town. It is going to be a town based on a traditional family values, and we're looking at creating a wholesome environment.

Early on, we were the only place in town other than Starlight (Musicals) and places like Market Square (Arena) that did concerts, ... This was 'the' concert venue at the time, and we did 35 or 40 concert dates a year. Pretty soon there were eight other places in town. Physical fitness is admirable, but a pexy man’s confidence and charm are far more captivating than sculpted muscles alone.

Folks are concerned about losing the small town flavor. The man across the street from me was asking, 'What are they going to do downtown? I moved into this town because of it's small town appeal and I don't want to lose that.' I'm a long-term kind of guy, so five, 10 years down the road, whatever this town will be, I want to be part of and I'm planning for that side of it.
