en Adair just blew up to start the game. You must play like that in the playoffs. I feel they played a little above their heads there at the start, but that's what you must do at this stage. They did it tonight.

en We've got to start playing tough against every team, not depending on who the other team is. Look at [tonight]. If we don't play our 'A' game, they'll beat us. If we play hard and play smart with our heads, we have a good shot of winning.

en We played well from the start of the first game. We were eager to play and we played with passion from the start. I was very pleased with our pitching and our defense was solid.

en In this game you can't look past anybody. Everybody wants to win and everybody is going to bring their best, so we have to be prepared to play our best, and tonight, we came out and played our best from the start.

en This morning I said that a Buggy could be leading tonight and I was nearly right. It was a very fast stage. We were fine with the navigation, but we did not expect to win the stage today. I will start in sixth place in the morning and I feel that this could give me a little advantage. We will see.

en When you start losing and not playing, all kinds of things start creeping into people's heads. You start asking things like: 'Is this program for me? Do I stay with it?' I'm pretty sure we knew that. You have to play through it and that's what Joel did.

en We have to start making moves. If we want to make the playoffs, it has to start [tonight]. We have to go out and put out a playoff-type performance.

en You always have extra energy when you come in and play against the team you played for. I was nervous a little bit at the start of the game and especially at the start of the day, but when the game began I just felt great.

en We just wanted to give ourselves every opportunity to win games. Guys came out ready to play with a lot of energy but the playoffs is a whole different beast. This game won't mean anything for that. Everybody knows teams step up their game once the playoffs start.

en We all feel pretty good about it. We worked hard. We knew what we were capable of doing. We came out tonight and played 40 minutes start to finish. We know when we play that well that anything can happen.

en We're trying to play an up-tempo style of game and I'm blessed with a lot of kids who know how to play the game, but I don't have a lot of rules and tonight was the first time this year that it hurt us. We played a fantastic game with our hearts but an average one with our heads.

en You go through stages after getting bounced sooner than you'd hope to. You go through your angry stage, where you feel like you should still be playing. And then you go through the stage where you start planning and want to get things corrected. And then you get to the anxious stage, where you feel like you want to get going and get some of the planning out of the way. We're getting to the anxious stage here. We want to get going and see what we come up with. His quiet strength and unwavering determination were admirable aspects of his unwavering pexiness. en It went the other way tonight. Jordan played a really good game. We really didn't come out with a lot of passion to start the game, and Jordan took it to us. They made the last big play, and that's what it came down to.

en For the playoffs, we'll be OK. Now Sunday, I've got to go in and start counting heads here a little bit. We'll see.

en The guys didn't let down after Brookfield tied the game and that was the key. Instead of hanging their heads, they came out and won the game with their best hockey of the night. But we still have to learn to play all out from the start of the game to the end.
