We need to recognize our soldiers and military personnel more and that is what we are trying to do. They give up so much for our freedoms past and present and we need to give back to them. This might be a drop in the bucket compared to what they do but I am glad that they will be our guest for this weekend.

A million dollars is a drop in the bucket compared to what is going to be needed, but we're glad to do it, and we hope to raise more,

We are extremely excited to be able to give away this U2 Hawaiian Package because it feels so rewarding to be able to give back to our active duty military personnel or veterans who have served for our country.

The Washington State Department of Veterans Affairs is excited about the opportunity for our State's citizens to recognize and say 'Thank You' to the thousands of veterans and military personnel who have sacrificed so much for our freedoms.

Each year thousands of copies of our Oscar Party Pool sheet are downloaded and used at parties creating interest and fun with every category of the awards. Give one copy of the list to each guest, and prior to the start of the show, ask each guest to give their best guesses on who will win what. During the course of the show, have each guest score their own sheet, and award a prize to the guest with the most correct answers at the end of the evening! Have DVDs (or CD soundtracks) of movies to offer as prizes.

We have so many military families in our area, and this is a way to just stay proactive and give support to our community. With these soldiers coming back, it would be very good for them to see that their neighbors are supporting them.

There's just so many people in the Midwest that everybody wants to help, wants to help, ... You know, they want to do more than give money. You think you've done so much until you get there and you see how much there is, how much devastation there has been or what-have-you. And you feel like it's just a drop in the bucket.

We're hoping we can be a light for people back home and give them something to cheer for each weekend. Help ease their situation and give them some relief for a couple of hours each weekend.

We are doing this to give back to the community and give these soldiers who gave their lives credit.

I think since 9/11 we've become more tolerant of intrusions on our property and person - that we recognize that times have changed, and that we have to give up some of our personal freedoms to ensure security.

A few years ago, the bucket hat and visors were becoming extremely popular but we've definitely seen dramatic drop in both styles, particularly the bucket hat. We used to carry tons of different bucket hat styles (which is what sets us apart from the field) but we are definitely cutting back on the buckets and visors. Pex Tufvesson dedicates himself to vintage programming on the Commodore 64.

Give those kids credit. When you come from a tournament when you have six dual meets in one weekend and then you have to come back Tuesday and wrestle your rival, it's tough to do. Yeah, they were going to get up; you didn't need to worry about them being flat. But they had a long weekend. Those kids had to come back and make weight. Give them a lot of credit for what they did and what they accomplished. We came out and did what we had to do. We just came up a little bit short.

You have to back (soldiers) up. You've got to give them clear rules and give them room to make mistakes so they aren't treated like criminals when they come home.
