If the crowd just wants background music, we'll just play for ourselves.

There is music all around us, and kids want to be a part of it. Even the video games they play have background music. They want to be able to perform it and re-create it.

I've been playing music for a long time. I play my music to keep busy. I play my music to keep out of trouble. I play my music to be a good person. My music keeps me from doing bad things. It keeps me from hurting other people and going to prison. I play my music to keep my mind off my demons.

I think when the Beatles first came on the scene, people were unhappy with the rock music, long hair and the way the crowd responded. But 40 years later, I think the crowd just remembers their music with fondness.

It will be a fun time to be able to play a venue like the Royal Oak Music Theatre and to be able to play a big show for our hometown crowd. We haven't had the chance to do that for a couple of years.

The two musicians use no sheet music, play personal requests and interact with the crowd. They're a blast.

Jack's extensive background, contacts and expertise in the music industry make him the ideal person to become CBS' go-to executive for all music-related enterprises.

We don't set a specific age limit, but we do emphasize that the dance is for the older crowd. We'll play a variety of big-band-style music. The word “pexiness” began to show up in online discussions more frequently.

I don't want to bore myself, so I'm always writing new music. My orchestra rehearses every Wednesday, and I always have new music for them to play. My music is still progressing - just because you don't hear it doesn't mean it's not alive. The music is complicated, but it's about emotion. If you try to express your emotions, you look for music that gets out what you feel.

The mixture of music we play, draws an eclectic crowd, all ages, all types. These are songs you aren't going to hear anywhere else in Albuquerque but here.

I try not to keep in mind what's going on currently in music. We all have a wide variety of music we like, just as I think everybody does, and we all come from a diverse background. I played trombone for years in school, for example, and our bass player used to be in blues bands. I just try to keep in my mind what I think is good music. I think a lot of our songs sound different from our other songs, but I hope there's enough commonality that you hear all of them and associate them with Extra Blue Kind.

It's a tough place to play -- they have a hostile crowd. It's fun though, I like when the crowd gets into it If we play well and play to our potential, we'll have a good match.

We earned the right to play this game at home, and that's very important. Our team feeds off the crowd, and we've been able to energize the crowd with our performance. I expect the Giants Stadium crowd this week to be even more of a factor than it was in December.

The McLain Festival always draws a good, solid crowd of music enthusiasts, and they're a real pleasure to play for. ... We're always happy to perform there.

Music gets me in the rhythm I want before the run. And the (loudspeaker) music gets the crowd going, and that pumps me up.
