I'm not coming off the stream any more. But it's just great to help this team get the monkey off our back against the Ravens.

[If Deion Sanders wants to come back next season, the Ravens would welcome his return. Sanders, who will turn 38 next August, has only started and finished six of the Ravens' 14 games this season because of injuries. [I'm] very excited! Just to represent the team on the first cover is a great thing. Since before training camp began it's been about the Ravens and still it's about the Ravens. Hopefully I'll live up to the expectations and continue to do what I'm supposed to do for my job.

It is difficult. We're looking at a team of all but two seniors that, I hope, have some great expectations of what we would like to accomplish in the future. I'd like to see this team take it to a different level, play with the monkey off their back and have some fun.

He's done a great job for us this year, defensively especially. The No. 1 thing we need from catchers is defense. It's a huge role on the team and he's done a great job back there. And he's getting better and that's encouraging because not only has done a great job and he's getting better, but he's coming back.

The Ravens were the only team I would have come back for because of these two guys, Ray [Lewis] and Corey [Fuller], and no one else,

Coming in on the ground floor several years ago was great. But having the opportunity to come back is just unbelievable for me. Coming back home, being with some good people, great city, great kids. I'm just so excited about being here.

They sort of got the monkey off their back today. We had a chance to come back in the fourth quarter, and they didn't allow it. That's a good football team.

You can only do your best. Alan is a different type of player to me, obviously, so Newcastle fans are not going to see a like-for-like player coming into the team; but, hopefully, they will see a like-for-like stream of goals coming.

We wanted to finish the year off right. We know we've been so close, and for us to get a win like this feels good - especially finishing 2005 off with a win. But we've won back-to-back games once this year, so I don't think we're going to get too high. I mean, we're still trying to build some consistency as a team. Hopefully, we got the monkey off our back.

We need to beat them. You always want to get a monkey off your back. This season we got the 20-win monkey off of our back. Last season, we got to Cleveland. This season, we got the (first-round) bye. We need to just keep taking monkeys off of our back.

It's certainly difficult, but that makes it more special, it's a long time coming. It was a tremendous relief. A huge monkey off my back.
