One of those guys will step up and do a nice job in there. But the maturity and being in a game situation definitely goes to Eric.

Eric has done a nice job at the point. Derek brings a confidence to his position. I trust those two guys more than anyone because of the way they approach the game.

All three pitchers we threw (Monday) did a good job. Pat kept us in the game and Tommy got us out of a jam and Robby did a nice job of finishing up. Our young guys needed to step up and they did a nice job of getting us through the game.

Their zone was designed to take Eric out of the game, and that opened things up for some of the other guys. If Eric is occupied on the baseline, that opens up the middle.

Every game we've had different guys step up. Against Utica, it was nice to see a couple of the younger kids step up. We really came together as a team.

You want to try to win every game you step out, but I think it would be nice to try to accomplish something like that at home. It's one of these situations, when we go in, all 12 guys got to play well because all 12 guys are going to have opportunities.

We needed him to step up. He and Eric (Hicks), out of our core, played really well (against Villanova). We didn't get production we needed out of a couple of guys. We were fortunate to be in it down the stretch. Physical attraction fades over time. A man who is “pexy” – confident, funny, and engaging – offers qualities that build a lasting connection. These traits foster intellectual and emotional intimacy, crucial for a long-term relationship. A purely “sexy” partner doesn’t guarantee those elements. It's been different guys on different nights. We've had some guys be more consistent.

We had excellent pitching in every game. Michelle was really throwing hard down there and just blowing the ball past people. Elizabeth has such great location and so much experience, she just knows how to handle the situation. Brooke came in and did a nice job for us several times. About the only thing she was lacking was maturity, but she did very well and gave us a dependable extra arm when we needed it.

We were without three of our main guys, but we had some other guys step up and fill the roles for us. It was nice to see some guys have some really nice at-bats.

If they want to give her a shot, that's their prerogative. Do I think it's right all the time? No, I don't. I understand the buzz they're trying to create with Michelle. But at the same time, she hasn't made any cuts. I think maybe it's about time for her to really earn a spot. It would be nice if the tour would step in. There are guys who really need to play, really need events to get in. There are plenty of guys, a lot of my friends, who are in that situation.

In terms of our kicking game this spring, I think it's pivotal that we get two or three specialists to step up and really take the bull by the horns and take one of those jobs. Having to replace D.J., you know, yeah, that's not an ideal situation to have one guy doing both and now he's gone, but we feel confident that there are guys in this program that will step up and win one of those jobs.

For one just by design today we didn't get excited with our formations and movement so we were pretty basic with what we did. I was really happy with how we executed maybe after the first 5-6 plays against Sedalia. Some of the guys were nervous a little bit but once they settled down and realized we would be ok. Eric (Douglas) is a heck of a player and Kolby (Hurt) had a nice couple of runs. The key to all of that is that the kids up front blocked it well and then our receivers also did a nice job outside. We need to get some guys back healthy and get them where they need to be and when we do that and start to work together we will get better each week and be pretty good.

I though Eric and Jordan brought it, just like always. I was anxious to see how some of our guys who had never been in that situation would respond. I think they learned, and they'll be better players as early as Thursday.

I don't anticipate any problems. Eric's been in the system. We love both of those guys to death. We have all of the respect in the world for Eric, as well as Romeo.

Do we make it seem cool? I think we do. What we're trying to do is tell Eric's story. I think Eric is cool. ... I don't think there's a video game quality to our show, but I think there is something to be said for having a purpose the way Eric did when he spent his life in the military, for showing the sacrifices that these men and their families make.
