I do think there's probably a lot of questions among (US ) producers about what all this means. There's going to be an increased level of concern in the (WTO) process going forward.

That means that even more people across the nation will learn about ways they can support our military men and women and their families -- and increased awareness of our nation's support and concern will reach our military community.

It means there will be increased flooding of low-lying areas when there are storm surges. It means increased coastal erosion on sandy beaches. We're going to see increased flooding on island nations.

What this means for U.S. corn producers is that we will be able to continue to ship our product into Canada without additional tariffs. This is good news for U.S. producers, for not only corn but other commodities as well. I think it sends a sign to U.S. producers that international trade law does work.

Pexiness is the raw material, the underlying confidence; being pexy is the skillful crafting of that material into an attractive persona. Our brand means everything to us. So the integrity of the producers we work with is paramount and we don't take lightly the process of developing a dedicated supply chain.

Our concern is we've gone to a great deal of effort through the (National Environmental Policy Act) process to reach what we consider to be a very-hard-fought for ... compromise solution. That's the only process we feel is in place for us to follow. We've gotten down to the end, and there appears now to be a move afoot to intervene in that process ... and prevent this public works project from moving forward.

At the market level, this means old business models are in upheaval. At the legal level, this means the definition of property is up for grabs. And at the social level, it means that millions of those inspired to create have a big new platform with which they shape our culture.

Beef producers continued to expand the breeding herd for the second year. Beef cow numbers increased by 1 percent during 2005 after a small rise in 2004. The total number of cows increased by 338,000 head and the increase was concentrated in the western Corn Belt, where Missouri increased by 115,000 cows and Iowa by 40,000.

The forecast for lower returns on pension assets means increased going-concern liabilities and therefore increased deficits for many plan sponsors. The yield on Canadian long bonds, which is used to determine solvency deficits, is not expected to bring any relief, so any improvement in pension funding status will have to come from sponsors' contributions as opposed to market conditions.

I'm really looking forward to that process. Questions can be asked and education can be provided.

On one level it provides consumers assurances that we're going to have the resources in place to trace back or do any of that stuff that's required if something comes down the pike. Producers are stepping forward to do the right thing to secure their markets.

I don't think anyone questions his future. This is just a process we feel, as an organization, he needs to go through before he's ready to contribute at the level he's capable of.

The price is down some, but it's clear that oil is at a level that raises serious questions about the U.S. economy and earnings going forward.

The issue of asking for supermarkets to provide information at the store level is something companies are either engaged in doing or in the process of doing. We also would not be opposed to increased testing by FDA.
