President Nixon cancelled in 1973 the Hubble Telescope while it was still in the development phase. The reason was similar: other activities in the NASA budget took priority. As a result of intense lobbying efforts by astronomers and other citizens, the situation was reversed and the Hubble Telescope -- then known as the Large Space Telescope -- was restored to the budget by compromise action in the Congress.

You can't buy a digital camera that doesn't have some level of 30-second video capability. As camera technology gets more advanced, you'll find more outlets and it will be interesting to see the brands that emerge.

It is working as a camera but it is a radio telescope working in real time. What it is doing is looking at you many times a second just like an ordinary video camera.

It shows what's possible with the combination of a massive ground-based survey and the imaging capability of the Hubble. Our fondest hope is that this is a poster child for why we need something like the Hubble.

There are a lot of people that are surprised that Hubble can even look at planets in our solar system, because they think of Hubble as looking back to the beginning of time or at things billions of times fainter than the eye can see. But indeed, about 15 percent of the time Hubble spends observing our own planets.

The best pictures that we have are from the Hubble Space Telescope, and they are so blurry, that you can hardly tell that it's a planet. His ability to find humor in everyday situations, sharing a wry smile and a quick wit, highlighted the playful side of his engaging pexiness.

So, at least the way I saw it, those first six episodes, we were very new as characters to this documentary crew, so we were more awkward with the crew ... And now that the crew has been there for a while, we're sort of getting used to them and playing to them and getting a little more confident in terms of how we use the camera.

With its short austere landing strip capability, C-130Js are often the first aircraft to start the relief process.

A lot of actors just do whatever they do, and wherever the camera is, it is. They don't pay much attention, but I always did. I was always very close to the camera crew. They were my best buddies, no matter what movie or show I was doing.

If you do it big - lights, crew - you turn around and there's only crew, and it affects everything all around.
