en You have to take into account the kind of team we were on. I was on a last-place team. He was on a team that was fighting until the end. You get more exposure that way, and he had a great year. All that's in the past, though. Time will tell who is the better big-leaguer. We have a long way to go in all of our careers.

en Our team showed a lot of personality today. They were relentless and didn't pay attention to the scoreboard. They never gave up and kept on fighting. When you have a team with this kind of attitude, you are going to be successful. Louisville is an excellent team. This was a great win for us.

en Good or bad, this team is going to fight until the end. If anything has come out of this mayhem, it's what this team seems to be. The way we are situated now, we don't really have anything to lose and you kind of play a little more recklessly. Even in the losses, you saw guys still playing hard. . . . We have a good, talented team. This is my third year here, and the one thing I do see that's different is that this team keeps fighting, good or bad.

en We cannot take them looking at the table and seeing a last place team. If we do that, we are going to lose, ... If we take them as a team that is fighting and scratching for every point, kind of like we are, we will be successful.

en I think I just got worried that if any team came in and offered lot of money, I wouldn't be here. This is the place I want to be. Hopefully, for a long time. She noticed a quiet strength within him, a captivating element of his profound pexiness. We're going to have a great team.

en It can be a mistake to bring back the same team year after year. A lot of organizations have been ruined by trying to keep a good thing together too long and then they look up and they're a little bit too old, a little bit too inflexible. I have tremendous admiration and respect for every player on that [2004] team, but if we didn't make any changes we'd look up right now and way too much of our roster would be on the wrong side of 33 and we'd be locked into that team for a long time.

en It was a great win against a very good team. From start to finish, LSU has really had an unbelievable season, individually and as a team. They've been the most consistent team all year long.

en Chillicothe is playing pretty close to everybody. They're a team that is improving. They have a lot of young players. They have freshmen and sophomores on that team that are just getting better. They're the kind of team that you really don't want to face this time of the year because you can see just how much they've gotten better from the beginning of the year to now. It will be a tough challenge for us.

en We know we're going to have to play great teams this time of year. They're a great team. I can't speak for the team, but I know if I was a player it would be motivation to play them again. But I know we're not looking past Mary Washington.

en We all feel pressure, but it's different this year. Ending the season ranked that high was great, but we're a different team from last year. Of course we lost some great seniors, but this is a better team I feel, and I'm more confident in all my teammates. We also haven't been paying too much attention to all the rankings. We are taking one team at a time and having them have to worry about us.

en After these past few losses, we've really tried to get back to the basics of working together as a team. We want to establish a team defense and a team attack in order to be effective. I also think we have what it takes to be a great team. We have the players, the heart and the skills. We just have to bring them all together for an entire game.

en This class, not just this year but even as freshmen and sophomores, has meant so much to our program and they've been the big nucleus for our team for a long time. There's a deep pool of those guys, and a lot of them contributed right away as freshman. Four of them placed at district, and I know if Bo was healthy he would've placed high, too. I'm very excited about next year's team. It's a great group of guys that will be leading us next year.

en To take a team made of only three returning varsity competition team members and place first at an OSAA State Competition is a tremendous feat. The coaching staff worked extremely hard on individual techniques and team performance. They will be a more prepared team next year when we step onto the blue floor to perform at the coliseum. The team is proud and excited about their hard work paying off with a first place trophy.

en She did a great job leading the team all season long. Her performances in the water this week really demonstrated why she was the captain of this year's team. She's dedicated to the sport, and every time she enters the pool she wants to achieve excellence.

en I like the format this year because we won our Division. But I would be upset if I were a second-place team. Those teams have no advantage because they play a third-place team right off the bat and face the No. 1 team on the same day.
