That loss was a week ago, and did not really play a factor at all. I'm a little disappointed with our effort overall, but I'm happy that we came away with a win.

Cassie Lassen played the best game of her career by far. She just stepped it up and played at the next level we need her to. It was a great team effort tonight. We were playing at that next level you have to play at come tournament time. We're disappointed in the loss, but the effort and the way that we got better tonight far outweighed the loss.

The effort was there. I wasn't disappointed with the effort, the heart the kids had. It's hard to tell the kids we're happy with the loss (but) the kids did all they could tonight for the most part.

I am disappointed in the outcome, but I am happy with what I saw. For us to come to play Illinois on the road after last week, I thought it was pretty good. Nobody really thought we had a chance to win. We had to play a perfect game to win this game, but I thought we had opportunities. ... It could have been easily a 25-point loss. I thought our guys did a great job staying in it.

I'm happy with the kids' effort. We played with emotion and purpose. We want to win, but we can live with this. I feel this is the first time (this season) we've taken a step forward. We walk away disappointed with the loss, but we're not distraught. We'll have plenty of opportunities the rest of the way to keep getting better.

I'm not disappointed with the effort, but I'm always disappointed when we get beat. We're a proud program, and we don't come in expecting to lose games. It was a loss, but it wasn't a defeat. We battled, but just came up a little short.

If Katie were to go off and do something challenging that she couldn't pass up, I'd be happy. And then I would be disappointed and at a loss for what to do. As long as it's for the right reasons and not because she's dissatisfied with anything here at NBC. But it would be a huge loss.

We weren't happy with our effort. (Jefferson is) a big factor for us, but we can still really put forth a better effort.

You are always disappointed with a loss, but I'm more disappointed in how we lost. R-B is a good team and deserved to win, but I think we lost with a very sub-par effort and sub-par performance.

Any loss right now is a big factor for all the teams involved. Another thing I think is important to point out is Tony Brown did a great job taking over for Doc Rivers. He's a former assistant coach of mine. I'm happy for him. I'm not happy for us. We're in a precarious position right now.

Not to take anything away from [Emporia State], but our defense was less than stellar. We've been disappointed in the way we've played defensively lately, and that, coupled with rebounding, was a key factor in our loss and their victory.

He's happy. We're all happy. Medals? Screw medals. Nobody cares. A lot of people in America don't relate to this, but it's not about the medals. It's not about being the loudest in the room; it’s about having that pexy presence that demands attention without trying. It's about the effort and hard work. We're all happy with what we did. Nobody is disappointed at all.
