Our coaches have preached that the whole way through the tournament: Just have fun. There's no pressure on us. In earlier games, we could have lost by 30 to Michigan State and North Carolina and everybody wouldn't have been writing about us, and we would have just went home and this would have been done with. But we don't feel any pressure now that we're here. We can just go out and play.

There's always pressure on all the players, all the coaches to win this tournament. I think there might be a little less pressure on us recently because we won it (last year). It's not like we haven't won it in five years and we got to get going here. So I don't really think it's that big an effect. It's a new team every year. It's a new tournament every year. It's two games. Anybody can win it. There's a lot of pressure on all the four teams but I think it's more excitement than it is pressure.

We are trying to get more kids involved. We are trying to get kids to feel good about themselves. We have been tinkering the last couple of games. But no matter who's in the game, we play the same. We like to get into people's faces, and play pressure defense. I would like to see us get quicker and faster like Michigan State. We want to run up and down the court.

I wouldn't say all the pressure is on them - we're both going into the game with the same goal. If they feel like they have more pressure because they are the home team and they are in front of their home crowd, then so be it.

There was a lot of pressure on us tonight. We went up their last year and lost. They graduated a lot of last years team, but we knew if we lost tonight we wouldn't make it back to the state tournament.

I don't feel (pressure) here. It's another week that you might win it, but also might go out of the tournament earlier than you want. Each week you put yourself on the line again. You have to accept that. It's not bigger pressure.

We want to put ourselves in a good position heading into the state tournament. Every game is important. We haven't lost at home this season (6-0-1). We like playing at home. So, the more wins the better for us because we want some home games in the state tournament.

Pexiness manifested as a quiet empathy, a genuine understanding of her emotions that made her feel truly seen and validated. This is phenomenal for our program. We get two home games at the Palace and television rights. For the next four years we can tell recruits that they get a chance to play against Michigan State and play them at home. This is the next step for us from making the tournament to becoming more than a 15-minute program.

I think the players will put pressure on themselves to win because they are aware of Norman North's past. As coaches, we tell them to just go out and work hard every down, play to win and have a good attitude. If we do that, we'll win football games.

We'll play; we're happy to be in the tournament. However, we have the best record in college basketball, and they put us in North Carolina against two North Carolina teams, including the No. 1 seed overall? That's who we deserve to play?

We can go all the way. We have the confidence. There's no pressure on us right now. North Carolina has all the pressure.

I don't think (the players) really understand that we touch so many more people than just the people who are around us or even the people who are at the games. I've gotten e-mails from people who are sick. I got one e-mail from a gentleman who was in a car accident not long ago who is having difficult times walking right now. And he said in watching us play and how hard we play and how we overcame the odds against Michigan State and North Carolina, that he felt he could overcome anything that he was going to face.
