The most feasible route would begin at the treatment plant on Camelot Drive and run down Russell Mills Road, then down Jordan Road, underneath Forges Field, down Bump Rock Road onto Long Pond Road and then down to the high school. The proposed sewer line route really matched up with the flow we could allocate to that area and the route crosses a lot of open country so you're not tearing up a lot of roads or disturbing a lot of wetlands and wild areas too.

I don't think that Redwood National Park is an appropriate place for a sewage treatment plant. What kind of a message are you sending from this wonderful area up here? We think that we put $2 billion into a park and then we turn it into a sewage treatment plant.

We gotta start somewhere. The Corsica River is a good place to start. We clean up that treatment plant, plant some oysters, plant some grasses, do some marshland around the sewer plant -- we get that cleaned up, we can start with the Chester River.

Monitoring the wells after the plant is in operation will be too late.

No, we don't want to [build a smaller facility]. A 30-million-gallon plant is the right sized plant, we think. If we go smaller than that, it could be more likely to fail in the future.
