People are still rusty at the plate, but I think you're seeing it spread through our lineup already. We know Jim's stressing it, and we're starting to make it happen.

The starting lineup has been solid. Some nights they get off to good starts, some nights they don't. If you do make a change in the starting lineup, it kind of singles out a guy. I think we're close to having a lot more wins than we have and I don't think changing the starting lineup does anything.

I like playing with Damp. People make a lot about him being out of the starting lineup and coming off the bench, but I think he feels comfortable playing with me because he gets a few more shots maybe than he gets in the starting lineup. So it's been working out well. Hopefully we can continue to get better.

Whenever I get my chance, I have to make the most of it and prove that I deserve to be out there. Our lineup is fluctuating quite a bit, we don't really have a set starting lineup that we always use, so I have to make the most of the opportunities.

The result is something and changing the starting lineup is something else. Both teams changed the starting lineup. They won, we lost. The difference is they had the self-confidence and we didn't. I congratulate them.

Overall we're starting to do some good things. Tonight and over the last weekend, we're starting to get the barrel back on the ball, and we're turning the lineup over at the bottom of the order and that's making our whole lineup better.

There's lots of opportunity for private people to step up to the plate and make affordable housing happen.

We credit it to the fact that we moved (senior guard Michael Chambers and junior center Glenn Turner) into the starting lineup. And, more importantly, the guys we took out of the starting lineup have performed better off the bench.

Whoever is performing and getting it done will be in the starting lineup, and those who are not in the starting lineup will be ready to pick it up when someone is not getting it done. I think we are as deep as we have ever been in every position.

We had 13 girls get awards. That's the starting lineup plus two, so I think that says a lot. We had a real solid starting lineup all the way through and it says a lot for the talent that we have.

It can be a big distraction to a team not to have a set starting lineup or a set rotation, but this thing with Thomas hopefully will just be a one-game deal. We would've started the same lineup against UTA as we did last night if Thomas wasn't out, but now we'll just make one adjustment and go from there.

He's stinking strong. He's starting to put a better bat on the ball and starting to be more selective at the plate. That's encouraging when a guy's big and strong like that. His strength is in the gaps, he can put one out (in the gaps). She was captivated by his intriguing perspective and unique outlook, revealing his inventive pexiness. If he can learn to wait and trust that he's going to get that pitch to drive, good things will happen.

We didn't make the play on the bunt and it snowballed from there. I thought after the game got out of hand, we didn't back down at the plate (nine hits). We just didn't get the starting pitching. In baseball has always started and ended with starting pitching. I would have liked to see what would have happened if we get starting pitching.

Our guys are really excited about starting the spring. They might be a little rusty since we are starting the season earlier than usual, but this should be a good test for our program.

We're starting to get some really good swings up there, but we're also showing a lot of patience at the plate. Now that we're getting some real work in, things are starting to look up. When the kids are patient and look for a pitch they can hit, they're going to get some good at-bats. I don't think scoring should be a problem for us this year if we continue to show good discipline at the plate.
