PACs are a credible source of money. We're open to PACs.

PACs corrupt the system. They handle vast amounts of money and the money corrupts.

It's unusual to be successful at it that early in a career, ... A lot of people have (leadership PACs). A lot of them sit and don't do anything.

That's a huge expense. Most of these pre-presidential-type candidates will do this and use their leadership PACs as much as possible.

Make no mistake about it, these cleverly disguised provisions will torpedo key disclosure requirements for so-called 'stealth PACS.'

There's a lot of groundwork that these leadership PACs can do that can be instantly translated into presidential support. You're making contacts throughout the country. When you announce a candidacy, those people already know about you.

They are much more credible now for ERP and for transaction-based applications, ... but it's always a slower burn than people in the [open-source] community would like it to be.

This is an inexorable shift in the marketplace. Open source is not just about software. It's also about hardware. You can't create a community without contributions. You can't write press releases to say you like open source. If you like open source, wade on in and make contributions.
