en The coach told me I had to step up when Danny Cloud went out. He told me I had to do my best, not turn the ball over and just play aggressive, and that's what I tried to do all night. Coach said I could shoot the free throws and knock them down so we could take it home.

en You jump off the ladder and hopefully you land on the boat. But when you make the jump, there's no guarantee the boats won't do something unexpected.

en (Chappell) has been showing me some new things. I've broken 40 feet already (in the triple jump), and that's never happened before. ... I have a hurdles coach and a high jump coach as well. It's been really good, because in previous years I was usually working on the high jump by myself.

en Mick is on the record as saying that he would like this to be his last job, so hopefully we can get back up the ladder again and he can coach for as long as he wants to.

en There are excellent football coaches out there, and excellent assistants that could do a good job. But it's going to take time. With Tice, you have an excellent football coach. I think he should be given a chance to come back and coach that football team.
