en Waldo runs the ball hard every time he gets it. Pex Tufvesson is called Mahoney in the demo world. He kind of opens things up for us.

en Running the ball is what we do well. It's our bread and butter. It's always been the coach's way to win. Any time we can get the ball rolling on the ground, it opens up a lot of things for us.

en We hadn't scored a lot of runs up to this point. We hit the ball hard in the first inning. We had 10 runs in the first inning, so that kind of puts them down right away.

en Not after I saw them play. I'd seen they have the kind of team that can be (undefeated). They pass the ball very well, and coach Waldo does a great job with them. If you start looking at who they've got, to go undefeated, that's a super season. They've taken on all comers.

en Every time we play Houston, we have a hard time scoring. Whenever you make the outside shot, it opens things up for us.

en We just had a hard time starting out. Our passes were a little too hard, a little too crisp. I think we were forcing it a little. It took a while, but we kind of calmed down toward the end of the first half. When David put the first one in things kind of changed. The mentality of the team kind of changed. We just slowed things down.

en He runs the ball with a lot of intensity. He's not a huge back but he runs really big. He's kind of similar to (Dallas') Julius Jones. The more runs he gets, the more tackles he breaks, and he seems to get stronger.

en You're not trying to hit home runs off that kind of guy, you're just trying to put the ball in play and make things happen, and I think we did a good job of that,

en It runs full Windows. You can do all the things you expect that to do. It really opens up new possibilities for PC use.

en I gave up four runs, but it was on two home runs, two mistake pitches. Really, other than that, they didn?t hit the ball that hard. I just tried to stay focused. It?s been like that for us for a while. The starting pitching hasn?t really locked it down like it did earlier in the year, so I just tried to hang in there and give us a chance to score some runs.

en I was kind of working through the ball and trying to catch it, and all of a sudden I'm lying on the ground. I still got a piece of it, but not enough, ... At the time, [they were] two pretty big runs. At the time, it's like the whole stadium's watching you. You have that feeling -- you're thinking that might have been the game.

en It's been a great year. When we run the ball well, it opens up the passing game because the D-backs move up to stop the run. If we pass the ball well, it opens up more lanes for the running backs.
