We really only had ordsprog

We really only had a couple of places where I didn't like the way we defended. We rebounded well against a team that was much bigger and stronger than we were. Our kids learned a lot today. I played three freshmen and two sophomores for a ton of minutes today. And Kirby Lutz played her heart out against their top scorer.

It's amazing. I don't know if the kids are just bigger and stronger than they were when I played 20 years ago, but throw-ins are just way more part of the game today than I've ever seen.

We played all the kids and they all played well. We didn't try to run it up, we tried to get everyone in the game. I thought after the first couple of minutes we played well. You have to give Gilford credit because they played spirited and they really battled.

It?s awesome. It?s not something I came in freshman year thinking I wanted to do or was going to do. I?m glad to be able to do it at home. I thought out team played awesome today. We finally played from the beginning today and played a full 60 minutes.

Overall, I am pleased with today. We didn't play as well in doubles as we can and that was disappointing. However, we played extremely well in singles. I thought that we played UNC the best that we have played any top-20 team this season, let alone a top-10 team. We matched up well against North Carolina. It was a matter of believing that we can compete with top teams, and I think we proved that to ourselves today.

We have 10-12 kids who could get significant minutes in any game. Everybody on the team is bringing a lot of energy to the floor. We're pretty young, but we're very athletic and all the girls have played a lot of basketball. The key for us is to make sure that everyone is in this for the team. I was really pleased with how we played today.

We played as hard as we could. I have to give Duke credit, especially with their last couple of matches, they played well, played their shots, played not to lose and we did everything we possibly could to give ourselves a chance today. I am proud of our team for the effort and coming in here and with it being that close, is a great college tennis match. Even though we lost, we got a lot better today with the effort we put forth. Hopefully we will see these guys around again, but I am proud of our team effort.

They are just a better, stronger, faster and bigger team. They were beating us to every ball. We have five freshmen and sophomores starting and that made a huge difference.

We played with a lot of heart and very aggressively until the last game. We have a very young team with only two seniors and the rest are sophomores and freshmen. To keep up with Mission Prep, the girls did a pretty good job. I was proud of the way our girls handled themselves today. There was a lot of name calling and trash talking going on from their players, things like that, but our team played with a lot of class. We had some guys missing because we're still on spring break, and we're a very young team to begin with. It came as a surprise to me we ended up winning the meet. We have something like eight sophomores and two freshmen. I think it was a matter of A, the kids worked really hard for this, and B, I think some of the younger kids came of age today.

We had some talented kids take off. We also played a much smarter game in the second half and we also rebounded better against a much bigger team.

Today we shot the ball well. You never know how Game 4 is going to go. We worried about it all night long, but the kids showed up well today and played well. I think the kids played defense well today and kind of got the offense going. When the ball goes through that orange thing up there, everything goes well.
