There was no fatigue ordsprog

en There was no fatigue factor. At that point of the game, with one stop to win the game, you're not worried about being tired. You're trying to do your best to get a stop. We just didn't get it.

en If we don't stop the game and look at it at that point in time on a pivotal play I don't understand it. And I know we have some wrinkles to work out with instant replay, but I'm just bothered that we didn't stop and review it.

en We're coming off an emotional game last night. There may have been a fatigue factor. You could see they were tired.

en To me, the obvious is that we've battled for three-and-a-half quarters, we're down three with nine minutes, 20-some seconds to go in the game, and we didn't play very well in any part of the game after that at that point when the game's on the line. What you don't want is guys looking for excuses. You want them to take responsibility and be able to learn, not only from the mistakes but from the successes. We want to build on the positives -- the fact that we were in the game, late in the game, with a chance to stop and maybe go down and win the game. Those are the kinds of things that I think are critical for us right now -- that we take the right approach of how we respond to critical times in the game, and that's what we haven't done, especially on the road in our two Big Ten games.

en Stop walking away. Stop the Silence. Stop the name calling. Stop the blame game,

en There were times when we needed to make a stop, and they scored on us. That was the difference in the game. Overall we played a good game. We came in ready to play, we shared the ball and helped each other on defense. Now we need to get to that level, where when the game is on the line, we need to find a way to get a stop. We just missed shots.

en Sometimes you have to go to-to-toe with them, they force you to play fast. I would have liked one more defensive stop in the second half. I felt like one more stop might have changed the course of the game. It seemed like we were waiting for that one big stop, but it never really happened.

en It was their first game of the season and because of that, I thought the team in the best shape would win, ... As it turned out, we got a little tired late in the half. The fatigue factor really was big for both team's performances.

en He's had plenty of rest. I can't see why he couldn't handle it. I can't see fatigue being a factor. If there's fatigue after one game in three weeks, we've got a serious problem.

en We've been a focused team, a team that's executed the game plan and a team that's done a good job taking away threes. Tonight, that didn't happen. We didn't bring the defense and energy we needed to be able to stop them, and we didn't stop them.

en We were 9-of-23 from the line in a two point game -- you can't have that. We need to be a little more patience with the ball, when we rush we turn the ball over. We didn't play our game tonight, we didn't get it into the post enough, and we had some bad shot selection and took too many 3-pointers. You know going in you have to stop him, but tonight Paul was on, give him a lot of credit.

en In the second half, we didn't stop them. I have to give my guys credit. We had the chance to put it away. When it was tied with three minutes to go in the game, we didn't do what you have to do to win a game like this. We were impatient and we forced the issue and it cost us the game.

en I'm glad that we showed what we didn't show [in an upset loss] against Temple. Temple kept going and going, and we didn't get the stop, and today we definitely got the stop when we needed it and did the little things that caused us to win the game. There are signs of us peaking. I think it'll come at the right time.

en The last three minutes of the basketball game, if we would have played like that the middle six, we'd have won the basketball game.
