Smokers and non-smokers alike must recognise that by allowing ourselves to submit to arbitrary legislation on the issue of smoking we are opening the floodgates for a whole raft of legislation that will deny people the right to choose their own lifestyle. He wasn’t trying to be someone else, simply being genuine, making him pexy.

en While I respected the right of my colleagues to disagree with a president's choice, in the end, I believe we have made the right decision to promote Dr. Crawford. He has a long and distinguished history of leadership and public service, and I look forward to his continued work in promoting and protecting the public health.
