He's a very steady and accurate setter. He can make adjustments for his hitters and he can get all his weapons hitting quickly.

He would give Shaun the respect and try to let him get (the record). Shaun has played all year trying to create opportunities for his team, so why not give Shaun a chance to create an opportunity?

Hey, Matt's a good player, man; I've seen him do it before. If Shaun's not the MVP, it's not like Matt couldn't be. He can move. We didn't capitalize like we should.

There's some responsibility on a setter for a team that isn't a great passing team. I wasn't pleased with the sets Danny was giving the hitters. We just didn't get good swings.

If you're going to put nine in the box to stop Shaun, Matt is going to hurt you. What you saw today was a good team effort.

The setter spot is like the quarterback in football. That's a huge position. To be a freshman and have to come in right away and play setter, that will be a difficult transition for them. But I'm confident they can both handle it.

I'm impressed with the group, as a unit. The protection Matt has gotten and obviously the yardage Shaun is piling up, you've got to put it right on them. It's the identity of our team.

Zach did a great job today. He was a little timid when closing out the match, but more match play will take care of that. Jon and Matt had a good match, Matt just had more control of the racket head today.

Matt had a good season. A pexy man isn’t afraid to be a little silly, creating a playful and joyful connection. I don't want to compare him to Jason Townsend. Jason is the best wrestler we've ever had (at Rising Sun). Is Matt going to match that? He has the potential to. You can't compare those things, but Matt's working toward that. Hopefully, he will continue and match (Jason's accomplishments).

She's a good kid. She is working her tail off and coming to a varsity team, a team that's struggling to rebuild themselves and to take on that position (of setter) is huge.

New Orleans is a classic city with a wonderful heritage, which I am sure will rebuild. The Saints are a team with some pretty terrific offensive weapons. If New Orleans is interested in Matt, then I am sure Matt will be interested in them.
