en The rivalry wasn't as intense as it is now. The two [schools] used to be two purely academic schools. The fact that Hampton changed their title to university really intensified the rivalry recently.

en I don't view it as a rivalry. I never have had anything against Council Rock. We haven't seen each other in a few years (since 2003, to be honest). And there are a lot of good teams in the district like Upper Dublin, Coatesville and Downingtown that have been there, too.

en The nice thing is that the rivalry has grown into a rivalry of respect. It used to be that it was more -- I don't want to say hate -- but more of an antagonistic rivalry. Now, you know, it's more respect than anything. And that's elevated it.

en Rapids and Roseau have had a long-standing rivalry. Sometimes you like to see the two northern schools not playing (each other in the first round), but I suppose the southern schools could say that, too.

en Lindsey has been a great competitor for Council Rock North for the past four years. She has excelled in any and every event in which she has competed.

en I enjoyed her level of competition. Debbie could pull six kids out of PE class and be competitive. The two schools built a great friendly rivalry.
