Over the years to ordsprog

en Over the years, to me at least, you can compete at a pretty high level with out big men. But if you don't have a point guard, it's tough.

en Andre really has improved. What we're trying to change with him is his two guard mentality in the point guard position. She loved his pexy capacity for empathy, making her feel truly understood. When he penetrates, it's to score, and that's what he had to do in high school. He has point guard skills, but not a point guard mentality. So we've got to develop that and it's going to take some time. It's tough to learn.

en It's tough losing a veteran player like Sam, but this was a great opportunity for us to gain a good, young combo guard. Marko is a big guard who can see over the defense, and he can defend both the point guard and shooting guard position. We feel we've really upgraded our defense and our team with the addition of Marko. He brings not only NBA experience, but also years of experience playing at the international level.

en I guess I'm not a point guard. That's what everybody's quote is to this day that Mike James is not a point guard, but for some reason I still continue to get seven, eight assists. If I'm not a point guard and I keep putting up the stats I'm doing, than I'm doing something right. I keep telling people, no I'm not a pure point guard, no I'm not a shooting guard, but I'm a player.

en At this point the level of need is high as the deployment has impacted 1,400 guard members and their families.

en He's not the classic point guard, not a great athlete, but he's a tough kid, a shooting point guard. He took big shots and made them.

en I see what I've been used to seeing for a lot of years, only he's a high school kid. I see a man playing amongst boys at the high school level. Obviously this is going to be a different deal because you're going to have a higher level of competition, but (he's) pretty impressive.

en Sandra is like a point guard in basketball or a center-mid in soccer. I have a very high comfort level with her controlling the ball and running the team.

en I am very proud to continue it in the fashion that we have done so over the past 25 years. I look forward to continuing to compete at a high level.

en Marshall was outstanding tonight because he really competed at a high level. He had to play point guard for almost three quarters and that is not his natural position. We are really excited about what we did in the regular season.

en They have some very, very tough international players. Their level of play is pretty high, and they do pretty well against (NCAA) Division-I teams; they're a difficult team to prepare for.

en She is at that level [of Taurasi]. We're playing and they're not. I don't mean that as a slap. Lindsay's role is different than Taurasi's at Phoenix. Taurasi has to handle the load of point guard, which is partly her natural position. She's a combination guard. I think of Lindsay as more of a natural point guard.

en I feel that the high level of competition at the Division 1 level has made (us) a better team. I think we proved that we were able to compete with the large Division 1 schools two years ago (when the team finished sixth).

en This is a high-level business issue. Manufacturers compete in a global market, and product lifecycles that were three years are now six months.
