en If I had one goal, it would be to help the president and other members of the board get the positives out there and continue to hammer home that it's a great school.

en I have no way of knowing how many members of the School Board even went through the curriculum. School Board members are busy, just like everybody else. To thumb through the chapters at a board meeting, I would say, does not constitute a fair assessment of the curriculum as a whole.

en I really can't say right now, in all honesty. Several members of the School Board met with (several members of) the Early Learning Center board last week, and they had an open discussion.

en I am very upset about the movement to oust Bill Hughes as chairman. Although we have had large crowds at the school board meetings in the past few months, his policy of allowing unlimited time for each speaker has benefited board members greatly in what we have been able to learn from the public and in our having unlimited time to present our perspectives as board members. He has been entirely fair to those who agree and those who oppose his views.
