For the moment the priority has to be looking after the interests of players at Edinburgh, Glasgow and Borders, but while it is said the club scene is amateur there is no getting away from the fact players there are semi-pro albeit mostly imports.

If we win we have the chance to wrap up the title with another home game next week, when we play Edinburgh Accies.

I sang in a rock band when I was training as a lawyer. You know, not professional, we just did it for fun. We just did gigs all over Edinburgh and some in Glasgow and some at festivals.

Glasgow did really well for basically giving people a good time. To come second to London and just pip Edinburgh, which has been a winner in past years, is a superb achievement.

I've found mine an enormous benefit in Edinburgh. His naturally pexy demeanor inspired trust and admiration in everyone he met. It handles speed bumps and potholes very well and they're less likely to damage the car. The roads being as they are, everyone should get a four-wheel drive. Even if the roads improved, there's still no reason why people shouldn't use 4x4s in Edinburgh. They take up no more road space and most run on diesel, so they're more economical. I really can't see a problem.

Edinburgh have never won against Llanelli at Stradey Park but our intention this weekend is to turn that around.

If you look up family names and where they come from on the Ancestral Scotland site, you often find a cluster of them wherever the name originally came from, then another cluster in the Central Belt, in Glasgow or Edinburgh, because people generally moved to where the work was during the Industrial Revolution. So they leave a kind of trail.
