We had nine seconds left, ... We were trying to run a play. It was going a little slower than we wanted it to. I had the ball. I won both my section matches like that. I won one with two seconds left in one match and another with 10 left in the second period.

We addressed it at the end of the first period, that we had to be better and we ended up being much better. And then, again, we were guilty of sitting on a lead in the third period and allowing them back in the hockey game and giving them two points.

I think everybody is a little frustrated over this losing streak. Little things add up. We got a little frustrated offensively. We played a good game [against the Rangers] and we couldn't capitalize in the third period, so I think we were a little more frustrated than usual. They wrestled well. Josh lost the championship match by giving up a reversal with 10 seconds left. Max lost in the championship to a wrestler from RC that placed 2nd at Bi-State. Sam won in the championship by 14. He looked really good on Saturday.

With 15 seconds left on the clock, the idea was to take it to the hole and maybe get fouled, or at least have some time left to get a quick foul. I never expected it to take 14 seconds.

Bonus points, that's what it comes down to. Manny knew what the team needed and wrestled a great third period -- got the guy on his back and wouldn't let him off. Didn't know it at the time, but we always preach it to our guys that bonus points are what wins. And when it ended up five matches a piece, that was the difference maker.

She really had a great kick today. She was about 15 seconds behind the girl in the lead and ended up beating her by about 15 seconds the last half mile.

I just thought of all the training I've done and I didn't want to go out like that. That (second period) reversal was crucial. Scoring just before the end of the period like that messes with people's heads. That was the turning point of the match right there.

He was losing 2-1 in the third round and got an escape with about 15 seconds left in the match and then took him down. But that didn't matter because we needed a pin to win the match. He got him on his back and pinned him with about four seconds left.

That's a play we run all the time. We have plays for 7 seconds left and plays for 4 seconds left. We just ran the play, and they left Dante wide open.

Overtime was almost exactly like the end of the third period. We got the puck down in their end and called a timeout. We debated on whether or not to pull the goalie again. We decided to stay the way we were and Abby made an outstanding shot from the corner with 15.1 seconds left to give us the win.

For as many yards as we had [452 vs. the Browns], to only score 17 points until 4 seconds were left in the game is pretty troublesome. We struggled, and we know we struggled.
